If you do not have a ticket, please ensure you check ticket availability before travelling to the event. 

 

Getting Here & Parking

Where possible, we recommend using Public Transport to travel to the event. There is no festival car park available at the event site.

 

By Metro: 

St. James Metro station is a 13 minute walk from the event site.

Haymarket Metro station is 15 minute walk from the event site.

By Bus:

From the Newcastle Bus Station in the city centre, is it is approximately a 20 minute walk. However, there are several buses which drop you by the event site:

  • On Saturdays, the Stagecoach 32 & 36 buses from the Monument Metro Station run frequently. Exit at the Richardson Rd-Esther Campbell CRT stop, approximately a short walk from the event site. Alternatively, the Stagecoach 71, 72, and 87 buses from the Newcastle Grainger Street Stop run every 15 minutes. Exit at the Barrack Road-Leazes Park stop, approximately a short walk from the event site.
  • On Sundays, the Stagecoach 71 & 72 buses from the Newcastle Grainger Street Stop run every 15 minutes. Exit at the Barrack Road-Leazes Park stop, approximately a short walk from the event site.

For routes from areas outside of the city centre, visit the Nexus Bus website for a complete network of buses around the Tyne & Wear area.

By Taxi:

Taxi drop-off points to be announced shortly…

By Car: 

We recommend travelling via public transport wherever possible. If travelling by car we recommend parking in one of the city’s multi-storey car parks. Unfortunately, there is NO car park available at the event site.

Traders & Production:

Trader & production access is to be announced in due course.

Disabled Access

Overview: Disabled access toilets are available on site, and the festivals are predominantly on flat grassland. Please visit the accessibility page on the top menu for more information.

Transport: Unfortunately we are not able to provide a car park at this event site. Nearby drop-off points will be announced shortly for those who require accessible access.

Dogs

Dogs are very welcome! We just ask for them to be kept on a lead and any mess to be cleaned up, as well as being mindful of other attendees and their pets.

 

FAQ:  Leazes Park

Is parking available? Unfortunately we are not permitted to provide a car park at this location due to land restrictions. We recommend travelling via public transport wherever possible.

Is the festival covered? Parts of the festival are covered, but please bring appropriate clothing, sun block, and umbrellas.

Can I bring my own furniture? Yes, folding chairs, tables etc are most welcome. Please take these home with you when you leave.

Do you have camping? Unfortunately attendee camping is not permitted on site.

Can I bring my own food and drink? Outside food and drink is not permitted on site, with the exceptions of water & baby food.

Can we leave the festival and come back in? Yes – please make sure you obtain a stamp/wristband from the entrance, otherwise you will not be permitted to re-enter.

Can I buy tickets on the day? Yes, provided that tickets have not sold out online. We highly recommend checking our ticket sales page before travelling to the event as numbers are strictly limited.

Do you have carer tickets? Carers go free with a purchased child or adult ticket. Just show your ID at the entrance.

Where in Leazes Park is the festival? Specific location within the park to be announced shortly…
